Thankfully this is over...this has been a tough season to watch...now go Hawks!!

I'm soo glad it's finally over. The only thing that could make this season even more aggonizing is if the Cubs were to............................. Never mind

in april, they said it was the schedule.

 

In may, they said it was too cold.

 

in June, they said it was the bullpen.

 

In july, they said they were getting close.

 

In August, they said it just wasn't working out.

 

In September, they said these kinds of years happen.

 

Now it's October. And the only thing left to say is: THEY GAWN.

 

And at least 10 of these guys need to never come back.

It really sucked not caring at the end. I hope next season isn't like this.

I could live with them telling us they're going to try and compete in 2008 if they do it the right way. And by do it the right way I mean sign Bonds.

 

(Yep, get used to it -- until Bonds signs somewhere I'm going to be like Pratt is to JS and the Braves or Fathom is to the Cubs' 'greatness'.)

For the love of God Bonds has to sign elsewhere ASAP.

Well 2007 is turning out to be a pretty s***ty sports year for me

-Sox suck

-Bears suck

-Cubs are in the playoffs

-Michigan is disapointing

-NIU sucks

-Packers are 4-0

 

At least Notre Dame might start out 0-8.

I really wish this team didn't even focus on competing in 2008, and focus more on competing in 2009-2011, etc.

 

Completely agree, but you know that won't happen. I could see this team being .500, maybe 85 wins next year, but there is now way we will get the 95 wins required to be in the playoffs. The farm system sucks, we need to fix it as fast as possible.

I'm having a hard time remembering a more disappointing season as a Sox fan. This was just painful.

 

I am, however, looking forward to this offseason. I think there will be some interesting moves made, and plenty to talk about.
