Ive seen Bi Polar and borderline behavior in one of my ex's they truly turn into another person all together, its scary. But somehow this one rubbed off on her little 16 year old sister as well, figure THAT out.

Um, mental illness often has a genetic component. If not genetic, they shared a similar environment growing up.

Also, I think that being 16 and pregnant is quite different than shaving your head, beating a car with an umbrella and holding your kids hostage. . .

Ya, that was a tongue in cheek comment, I figured it would be read that way. As someone with a psych degree, I understand the origins of mental illness. 16 and pregnant just means you are somewhat ignorant, not necessarily crazy.

Or just plain stupid. Which also seems to run in the Spears family. . .

Britney is out and about again, starbucks, gas stations, hotels, convenience stores.

How long until she seriously hurts herself?

We, as a nation, spend way too much time focusing on these pop tarts and not enough on important issues.

Like the Sox.

Well you, as mods, put this SLAM forum up so that we, as posters, could discuss these pop tarts and not litter the Palehose forum with it.

;)

I agree with you by the way, but I cant stop staring at trainwrecks

At least she cannot hurt the little ones for the time being.

Her little children never even crossed my mind as being in danger. The innocent folks walking across the parking lot to Starbucks are the ones in danger.

Agreed, the entire city of Los Angeles is in danger whenever she needs gas, cigarettes, or Starbucks and needs to drive.

Well, I guess that's one way to waste a s***load of the taxpayers money. That's just pathetic.

Twice in a month as well, so that is double the taxpayers money. On the other hand, it is double the attention that Britney is getting, yay!

edit: holy crap, wasted taxpayer resources

According to the L.A. Times, "Authorities said the welfare hold was prompted by a telephone call they received from Spear's psychiatrist. It was unclear exactly when they had received the call, but it was apparent that the operation had been carefully planned over a period of time. Unlike the first welfare hold — in which Spears' ambulance was closely pursued by a throng of photographers — vehicles today were blocked from following the same route. The motorcade that whisked Spears to the hospital also showed a large investment in resources. The line of emergency vehicles stretched longer than a football field."
