I was kind of amused by some of these names. Boy our system was thin back then, but it might be worse now.

Yaz Jr. I had forgotten he was in our system.

Only 6 of those guys made the Majors. And weren't very good. Karkovice, Cochrane ....

Shivers!!!!

Thigpen was there. Karko actually had a decent career.....compared to the first rounders we've had over the past 10 years.

Kenny Williams is exactly like a lot of people on the roster... he couldn't take a walk if his life depended on it as well.

I respect him in 93', but I completely forgot how horrible (offensively esp.) Officer Karkovice was. Good lord.

I miss "The Pope" Donn Pall. That was one of the best nicknames...EVAR!!!

And don't forget Marv Foley...that boy could ball.

thebaseballcube has kenny williams down as a broadcaster in '95, is that true?

He spent some time as a studio analyst for Sox games on SportsChannel Chicago before becoming the team's director of minor league operations in 1995.

I still causes me physical pain to think of KW's game at 3B.
