March 4, 200818 yr QUOTE(Felix @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 08:46 AM) finally (and there's no way he's the best ever, sorry; top 10, yes, top 5, no) No need to be sorry LOL. Let's just all agree, he was one hell of a quarterback! To bad his last pass ever is going to be an INT.

There isn't anyone that is going to convince me that he wasn't the best ever, but maybe I am biased. i probably am biased too....but i always thought that for one of the greatest qbs of our time while he certainly won his football team alot of games, he also lost his team an awful lot of football games....i mean yes he threw more TDs than anyone else ever did...but he also threw more INTs than anyone else ever did
March 4, 200818 yr QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 09:48 AM) Did you spend a lot of time watching game film on Unitas and Staubach? no, but i never saw babe ruth either....does that mean i cant think hes better than frank thomas whose entire career i saw? frankly i dont see how my age has anything to do with who the better qb was..... and btw i never really watched game film of favre either...sorry, i didnt tape the games and break them down...maybe that means my opinion doesnt count..if thats the case then so be it Edited March 4, 200818 yr by daa84
March 4, 200818 yr I'm gonna miss Favre. I was never a fan of the Packers or the NFC but i always got enjoyment from watching him play (the Strahan play notwithstanding). He was a true warrior in terms of a football player. He always gave it his all and left everything on the field. he showed up and played throug all sorts of adversity (i'll always remember the Oakland game following his fathers death). An exemplary teammate for any young player. He was not the best ever, but i believe he was top 5 (anyone putting Bradshaw that high is a joke, but thats just my opinion). I hope Brett stays a part of the game somehow, his presence in the NFL will be missed. Good luck and thanks for the memories.
March 4, 200818 yr I am going to miss him. I woke up to a phone call from my dad telling me he was gone, and I nearly cried. to the best ever. to the heart and soul of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Enjoy it Brett, you deserve it.

March 4, 200818 yr QUOTE(SoxPride56 @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 08:45 AM) Why don't we look at wins and TD passes as well then? So, Favre is better because Manning and Brady haven't been in the league as long?
