His innings to hit ratio is brutal so far. His fastball is better than it was two years ago, so there's cause for optimism. DEFENSIVELY of course. If Ozzie's trotting "El Tree Stump" out there every game, at least play him at SS where he's superior to Cabrera - easily. Sure OCab is having a shaky beginning, but he has what, 2 gold gloves that he sent back to his country to get melted down. and Uribe has none. Well Chavez is a stud at the hot corner when he's capable of walking so I have no real beef there and from what I've seen Adrian Beltre as probably been the best defensive 3B in the AL since '05 so perhaps he has a gripe. Its all well and fine to say his numbers would be better if there was consistent defense behind him, but that doesnt make up for the fact that he is giving up a s***ton of hits, walks are up more than normal for him, and he is just getting all-around hammered a lot more this year....
