May 8, 200817 yr I was just informed by #1 son that a Trek 1.2 road bike is joining my Cannondale M400. Anyone riding some really sweet carbon?
May 8, 200817 yr Cheat rides handmade titanium (which hasn't seen the light of day this year thanks to Chicago weather) and old school steel (which has been getting plenty of cold-weather action).

May 8, 200817 yr 2005 Cannondale R500, I spent a $1000 for it 3 years ago but I think it was well worth it. My $250 mountain bike has been getting beat up by the weather in the winter since I ride it every day. I got my mountain bike in 2006. Edited May 8, 200817 yr by WilliamTell
May 8, 200817 yr MTB: Specialized Epic Comp (aluminum), full shock w/ brain, disc brakes Road: Trek Pilot 5.0, fully composite frame And since I live in the city, neither one get much use lately. So instead I ride: City Bike: 10 20 (edit) year old steel, no shock, Gary Fisher Hoo Koo e Koo, though its been so fully replaced that its only the original frame and a few bits
May 8, 200817 yr QUOTE (Texsox @ May 8, 2008 -> 06:36 PM) I have both the good bikes stored in a friends' garage, from the winter. Until we move, they will probably stay there, unfortunately. I could provide a pic of the beater bike, which has almost no matching parts. Or stock pics of the other bikes.
May 9, 200817 yr Tex I see you have the lightweight powerful aerodynamic bicycle but I hope you are still keepin it real with the banana seat.

Absolutely, and a sissy bar and the 5 speed shifter on the frame. Green and yellow I miss that bike. I was seduced by a 10 speed with those drop down handlebars. Something like this
