Actually, Danks was throwing 93 last time out too. I don't know if he is over throwing or not, though I thought he was over throwing in his last outing.

Perfect game broken up by the pitcher drawing a walk. I like it.

i'm not talking speed necessarily - there were a few fastballs he threw after that homer that were visibly overthrown in terms of missing location down and in.

i'm sick of pop ups btw.

Generally over throwing a fastball leaves it up. Right?

Winn grounds to Crede. 1 out.

i guess it just looked like he was falling hard off the mound and that the pitch then missed the target and was generally in the 91-93 range. i've never been great at diagnosing pitchers but i figured i'd give it a whirl.

but this inning looking good.

Castillo grounds to Cabrera. 2 out.

where was that last pitch? squeezing like crazy.

4 straight down the middle, all called balls.

and that next one.

tries to go down and he misses... not cool ump, not cool.

Danks doesn't know where the zone is at this point. And neither do I.

Hey, a strike!

exactly... hard to blame him...

yeah let's keep walking the worst offense in baseball (besides us)

This is Danks from post ASB-2007. He's falling off the mound too much.

not his fault...

danks @ 58 pitches through 3, efficient.

he was definitely getting squeeze on that outside corner but if you're watching the game on TV, a lot of those balls weren't even close to the plate. not.even.close.

the one where danks already has 3 walks and a wild pitch, you?

I meandered into the chat world. I don't know how I feels about it.

the one where the umps strike zone is so tiny that danks has no clue where to throw the ball. and the one where our hitters arent patient and taking advantage of the small zone.

not a big fan - rarely do they talk about baseball.

Cain's making it look easy. It wouldn't shock me if he carries a no-hitter past the 4th inning.

Too predictable

Too predictable

He seems to be missing over the plate, same as Danks. Unfortunately the Sox haven't seen him before so...

i think that's the huge problem we have. we are the exact opposite of patient at the plate. we cant work a count for s***. i really feel greg walker needs to go and soon.
