The thing is, I always expect Carlos to do it, but for some reason, I always hold out hope with Maggs, though I know he's done it more.

I'm assuming the reason Everett is not in the lineup is because the SP is lefthanded.

It is rediculous. Konerko obviously can't do it right now. I know a lefty is on the mound but Daubach needs to DH and Frank needs to be at 1st. It isn't that difficult. I think Manuel has lulled himself into a false sense of security with the Twins and Cubs series but these are the games we must win becuz after July it gets tough and we will have to earn it. Why is he so Dumb?!

Manual said yesterday that he would "rest" Ev Tuesday because he had a speaking engagement Monday and would be tired from the trade, or something to that effect.

I don't mind Ev being rested but it's a proven fact that Thomas is a better hitter when he plays 1st.
