What a joke.

Agreed.

The NHL is starting to piss me off.

I thought this was a really interesting article about the amount of Hockey players in the NHL who were born in JAN, FEB, or MAR.

Its an interview with Malcolm Gladwell (Blink, The Tipping Point) he has a new book coming out.

GLADWELL INTERVIEW

enjoy

EDIT: Link fixed ... my bad

Problem with the link

Holy f*** the new Kaner/Toews commercial is hilarious.

Patrick Kane probably needs to stop hitting people in the face with his stick.

Huet!!

Hey look! IF you give a good goaltender consistent playing time, he'll prove to be worth the bucks. Huet is a great goaltender, and its time to trade Bulin when he gets healthy.

Hahaha, Toews commercial about Kaner is just as funny.

Hawks win 4-3 over the Avs and Q gets a win over his old squad. Decent game by Khabi but nothing stellar. Buff actually showed up tonight and potted a pair. Nice come from behind game for the Hawks.

Bhawks are 13-4-6 under Dennis Farina.

Trade Bulin asap.

Haha, didn't even think about how much they look alike. He really has got this team on a roll lately. Can we please dump Khabs now?

I cant believe there wasnt a few fights in the game last night. We are becoming that annoying chippy team and other teams like to scrap with us.

The Stars cut Sean Avery.

Karma's a b****.

And the over-reaction continues.

You sign a guy for the "emotion" and "grit" he brings, knowing full well he's an asshole, then you cut him for being an asshole.

Hilarious.

Agreed on the over-reaction, but it was somewhat of a questionable signing for that team to begin with, and I understand that even before this, Avery had become a pariah in his own locker room.

Ironically, this (latest) controversy gives the Stars cover for a decision which they may not have made otherwise, but it also makes sense for hockey reasons. Brett Hull just got stripped of his co-GM duties, in part because it was his decision to bring Avery in.

Looking forward to watching the Home Team tonight against Columbus. I fell asleep and missed the end of Friday night's game against the Avs after a long week of work.

All I have to say is, Thank God. Karma is a b****, even though it's an over-reaction. That prima-donna asshole was hated here...

Wow the Hawks tie it at 1 with only tenths of a second left in the 2nd, and then Duncan Keith and Martin Havlat combine for the best non-individual effort goal I've seen all season to give the Hawks the lead.

Agreed, Huet looked like the guy we went out to get this offseason.

The Hawks remind me of the Bears- every game, it seems like they disappear for half a period or so.

They start out slow sometimes but come on strong after the first intermission. I dont know if its adjustments or Q getting on their asses a little.

BTW, the 4th line has been outstanding on this winning streak. Eager looks like a man possessed.

We have a good team, and obviously some great attitudes and characters on it.

Yes, and it's most definitely time for the Hawks to give Bulin away and get this Sundin signing completed.

You have to be careful though not to ruin some team chemistry. Bulin is obviously a big part of this team and sending him away could send a bad vibe through the team. However, if you can sign Sundin and get some solid prospects for Bulin, fiscally and for the future it probably makes sense. I actually kind of like the two-goalie tandem, keeps them both fresh, but obviously they are making too much money combined.
