See when I say I dismiss the fact that racism exists in this country what I really mean to say is I no longer really involve myself in it. I rarely care one way or the other and I think if more people took that route as opposed to demanding ACTION (which only serves to divide people more) the entire thing would evaporate tomorrow. I think a key part in getting people to ignore race is pointing out the double standard, hopefully coaxing them into just giving up.

The nice thing is that many solutions are in progress and it is called father time. Racists are dying. It is easier for children to come into the world and not become racist than to make old racists change their views.

The problem with this solution is that society has done a heckuva job rigging it so that even if everyone came into the world not caring about race, problems like pollution, lack of health care, and poverty are concentrated in certain races and "people dying" does nothing but perpetuate that state.

All the government can really do is end discrimination in government. They did that. What more are you expecting? Seriously give me an example in contemporary times of some big anti-racism push actually doing something of note.

Zimmerman was only arrested after months of public outcry and after the DA was replaced. The public demanded an investigation in the first place which the local law enforcement refused to do. This was also well after the President was asked about the case.

But I suppose "get in their face and get justice" is an Obama speech highlight. It's the direction the Democrat party has gone. The walking orders are being obeyed. You are winning I suppose. I'm similarly waiting for you to tell me why there shouldn't be charges in this case. Or are you just demanding the president comment any time a kid is killed by a person of the opposite race? Because unlike the Martin case, the police appear to be willingly prosecuting the killers.

Absolute disregard for a human being. What a waste of oxygen. Was it hot that night. Is that why they killed an 88 year old veteran. Beats working. Blame whitey.
