Pandora Radio

Featured Replies

Has anyone else tried Pandora ( http://www.pandora.com/ )? It basically plays music that it will think that you like based your preferences. It's pretty cool. Everytime you listen to a song and rate it, it will update your preferences, so that the more you listen the less errors in anticipating what you will like will be. It's a cool little learning algorithm.

I like it to a point, but, it starts playing the same 12 songs after awhile, so, I have to change the station.

I have the same problem.

I've been using it for a little over a year now at work. I don't have any problems with it playing the same set of songs over and over.

needless to say, it's better than real radio, which plays more of the same songs over and over.

I hadnt heard of it but Im trying it now and it seems pretty cool.

It keeps giving me songs from bands which I've already added to my station. Yeah, I like the songs, but I'm looking for new stuff

I usually start a station with 2-3 bands as seeds. When it starts to get a little repetitive, I replace one of the seeds and quite often I will get a few dozen new songs popping up.

I like it. Works great to play while I'm at work.
