When was the last time Toby hit one hard? Just curious. Come on, we need a big hit here Toby or a walk.

I don't know why, but watching us manufacture a run in the top of the first, and watching Clayton pitch the bottom, I've got loads of confidence tonight.

OC be clutch.

Cause we look like the Twins playing good fundamental baseball and our pitcher throws strikes and works fast?

I was critical of calling up young Clayton at first, but again, just a hunch that tonight will be good for him.

Have you seen Swisher's hair today. Faux Hawk now?

Hope your right Clone.

Just a random though...

Jim Thome would have a REALLY good shot to bat .400 over the course of a season if they didn't put the shift on him.

Alrght some catching up to do here since i wasnt at my comp

Josh Fields

Joe Who? :P

... that will do for now

Swisher misreads that ball. Morneau just swung at that like a ax murderer.

Clayton pitches ubber fast.

He strikes out too much. Bonds, a few years ago, would have been much more likely. Interesting question though.

Who else has noticed a very creepy Ron Coomer in the Twins dugout?

He never left, hes probably just eating and living in the locker room.

Last time I saw Coomer on TV, he looked extremely heavy.

Yes they are. Still, I can't believe some people are conceeding the WS to them.

Come on, Brian, concentrate the power from your golden locks into a hit.

Haven't seen this mentioned here...but did you know the Cubs/Brewers series this week is not only for the World Series, but if the Cubs win, it might bring world peace? Good grief, ESPN SportsCenter this morning must have dedicated 10 minutes to the game, and even had Pedro Gomez there to report on the series.

They had him on yesterday. He is big. And adds nothing to the broadcasts as a reporter

Do you realize how many singles would he hit through the 1st/2nd base hole?

2nd, he needs to learn to bunt down the 3B line...

It shows how much of a joke ESPN is when they barely recognize our series and Mets/Marlins as anything special.
