John Lannan or Joel Hanrahan to Sox?

Featured Replies

I'll take another young pitcher. The Sox staff could compare to Tampa Bay in the whole age/quality thing if they keep it up.

Well now I know it is BS. Jessie Rogers sourcesare about as good as mine.

I miss Steff on days like today.

Whatever happened to her? She seemed to drop off the planet for some reason.

She can't stand those pants.

I wondered what happened to her too.

Steff's a lot busier than she used to be, doesn't have as much time to spend on the boards, as a lot of us don't anymore either unfortunately.

She was banned for her language following the blow-up doll incident. Oh wait, that was me.

Hanrahan was a Sox fan growing up in Des Moines.

Loved Frank.

Really?! I wish she would have said something. I would have gladly taken them off for her.

Per Roto World:

According to Nationals writer Bill Ladson, Washington is discussing Joel Hanrahan, not John Lannan, with the White Sox.

That makes a lot more sense. The White Sox would prefer a reliever anyway, and Lannan is someone the Nationals look at as a building block. Hanrahan won't come cheap, either, but he is a more realistic target.

That's too bad, cause I really wanted Lannan.

They better hurry.

I knew Lannan was too good to be true.

They're talkin Lannan up as an NL rookie of the year candidate in Washington.

Unless they were getting Fields back, I couldn't see the need for the Nats to do it.

Hell we should have asked for Ross Detwiler
