August 1, 200817 yr He took a vacation afterward the season and my guess is we'll see him sign by August 10th. He will sign, but negotiations weren't supposed to really start until early August. Danks deal is pretty much done, just a matter of finalizing the deal (they are lagging the official signing as a why to not piss off MLB (since its going to be for over-slot money).
August 1, 200817 yr The deadline is August 15. Most of the top picks last year signed around midnight on August 15, so there you go.
