Good series...we outplayed the Red Sox, no matter what the run differential says. I rarely say this, but we need to sweep the Royals. We're facing 3 mediocre righties.

 

 

And it's scary to think that KC plays us tough and I am not sure we have the fire right now to win the series, but we should win if these guys start to show some passion

I like Junior with this team, but I am waiting for something more than singles from him

IMHO, Linebrink on the DL has probably cost this team 4-5 W's. It was insane how important he was to t his club.

 

I'll try to put this as politically correct as I can.....Linebrink made Ozzie's decisions with the pen a lot easier. Now, he's trying hard to find a combination to get to Dotel in the 8th inning, and mixing/matching isn't his strong suit.

I haven't seen him play center on TV yet but I have read many comments. Is he way worse than Swish out there? If he is ... he can't be out there any more. KW and Oz can't be that dumb.

I would say he's worse than Mackowiak. Mackowiak was brutal out there, but Griffey is a statue. Ramirez had to go out about 75 feet to catch a shallow fly ball to CF.

The only game I saw on TV Griffey looked almost fat. I don't know if that's the case, but it sounds like this guy is a disaster in cf.

He's very heavy now...he looks more like Daryle Ward now than Ken Griffey Jr.
