Anybody officially worried or bummed about the acquisition of Griffey?

 

The only thing I'm worried about is him playing too much. Guys who don't throw hard, like Bannister and Miner, should be perfect for KGJr.

I just wish he'd get red hot and be the Griffey of Hall of Fame stature.

Like fathom said...worried he just plays too much. He really hasn't done crap besides his first game played. I'm not happy he's taking time away from BA...and like somebody said earlier....I WOULD rather see BA in there. His acquisition really wasn't necessary. Hell...I'd rather have Masset starting right now.

I'd say the Royals and Javy are playing/pitching up to their standards/potential.

Javy's command has been fantastic tonight!

I've heard tons about Royals prospects all year living here and really nothing about this Smith guy. They have a foreign player in AA who is doing very well.
