we are the epitome of a station-to-station baseball team, yikes

With those arms in the OF, I'm fine with it.

I don't know if I've ever seen a manager bring in a new pitcher and then have the new pitcher start off with the intentional walk.

Either Ozzie has done it once or someone playing the sox did it once. I can't remember, but I do remember the announcers saying its very unusual because you normally want that new pitcher focused on throwing strikes.

Top 7 OAK 3 MIN 0

How about a little PBP, huh?

Batista wasn't walking Thome intentionally until he threw that wild pitch.

Clement Ks. 1 out.

Betancourt homers.

I dunno.

You don't have to post the bad news.

It may be time to use that well rested bullpen.

Knightni,

OT, why is Dye not listed in your sig? 44HRs in 2006.

Pop out to AJ. 2 out.

Signs I know your team is probably not very good:

1. Andy Gonzalez is in your starting line-up

2. Miguel Cairo is your starting 1b

No matter how this season ends, the 2008 White Sox are a fun team to watch. Even when we went down 3 runs in the first, I just had a feeling that theyd come back and make a game out of it.

Lately they seem to be really finding themselves.

You know what bothers me the most about this team? How they'll go through stretches where they're just ridiculously fun to watch, when the pitching keeps them in games even when they fall behind and then they're going to make a run even if it fails or even if something blows up...and then they'll go through runs where it seems that unless they score 10 early they're just listless. Games like today are the fun ones.

Ibanez with a base hit. First and second. 2 out.

good call OZ

MB pulled. Don't know who's coming in.

Really bad start by Buehrle tonight, as he couldn't keep the ball down. Throw some junk up to the plate against Beltre.
