August 28, 200817 yr Ozzie needs to be extremely careful with Danks, whose arm may not be conditioned to throw 180-200 innings. Given the Sox's current division race, this puts Ozzie in a bit of a bind. But I think that he needs to consider skipping Danks a couple of times in September. Edited August 28, 200817 yr by WCSox

He's actually throwing more pitches per plate appearance this year (3.93) than last year (3.87) but he's facing less batter per IP this year (4.13) than last (4.47). So to sum it up nicely: 2007: 156 Pit/9IP 2008: 147 Pit/9IP
