September 13, 200817 yr QUOTE (Texsox @ Sep 13, 2008 -> 01:39 PM) This is really going to suck. A banged up team doesn't need a bunch of doubleheaders. It can be a blessing. Danks and Vazquez don't have to pitch on short rest either. Catch 22.
September 13, 200817 yr QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 13, 2008 -> 02:43 PM) What a mess. Sox are headed to NY on Monday. Don't storm cells usually travel East like this? Yes. I live in NYC and our weather often mirrors Chicago's about 1 day to 1.5 days later.
September 13, 200817 yr So hopefully we get both games in tomorrow. Even so, when do we play the 3rd game of the series? The Monday before the Twins series?? Brutal

September 13, 200817 yr QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Sep 13, 2008 -> 02:57 PM) Times like this make me wish the stadium had a retractable roof.... yea, but honestly, how often do teams get entire series rained out? not often. Especially in on "hurricane zones" like Chicago. It's a fluke. It sucks, but we gotta deal with it. I put good money that we wont have a game tomorrow either.
September 13, 200817 yr I am ticked and will register my complaint with the folks in charge of the weather. I now have to hope for ESPn on Sunday. One game instead of two this weekend that I get to see
