September 13, 200817 yr I read the plan was Javy and Broadway for today w/ Danks tomorrow night. Now what is our plan? We're going to need 6 games in the next 5 days (in theory), so how the hell are we doing that? It seems like pitching Broadway and Richard in the stretch has to happen, or someone on short rest. This is getting ugly.
September 13, 200817 yr Javy was suppose to go on short rest today, but he gets an extra day off, so does Danks.
September 13, 200817 yr Author QUOTE (tommy @ Sep 13, 2008 -> 04:14 PM) Javy was suppose to go on short rest today, but he gets an extra day off, so does Danks. Yeah I know, but I'm just worried about how this is playing out beyond that.
September 13, 200817 yr QUOTE (NYSox35 @ Sep 13, 2008 -> 01:15 PM) Yeah I know, but I'm just worried about how this is playing out beyond that. Carrasco might get a start . Ozzie's already said he's going back to the old bullpen rotation of using Dotel/Thorton in the 7th , Linebrink in the 8th and Jenks in the 9th. That might make DJ our 5th starter the rest of the way and Broadway or Richard to pitch in an emergency.
September 13, 200817 yr Just set the rotation so we have Floyd, Javy and Buehrle for the Twins please
September 14, 200817 yr QUOTE (WSoxMatt @ Sep 13, 2008 -> 02:31 PM) Just set the rotation so we have Floyd, Javy and Buehrle for the Twins please I'd rather have Danks pitch against the Twins to get another lefty to face them.
September 14, 200817 yr I'd rather have Danks, Floyd, and Vazquez. Buehrle gets eaten alive by disciplined hitting teams.
