Cliff Lee

Did they officially shut down Cliff Lee for tomorrow's game? ESPN.com still shows him as the Indians starter

Nope, sounds like he's a go for tomorrow now.

What I had last heard was that he's still sore and that if it's like this tomorrow he won't go.

From rotoworld:

Cliff Lee-S- Indians Sep. 27 - 8:46 am et

Cliff Lee (neck) played catch Friday and could pitch in the season finale if he wakes up on Saturday without significant soreness or pain.

"If he feels OK, we'll probably pitch him," said manager Eric Wedge.

also unrelated but looking ahead...

"We're just going to have to wait and see," Gardenhire said. "It looks like Blackburn. We're not going to bring Liriano back on three days' rest, so it's probably Blacky. I'll make that decision when I have to. Hopefully we do our job, get a little help and we may not have to make that decision."

the, well, bad Nick Blackburn would go against us in a one game playoff.

His nickname is Blacky???

If a struggling Cliff Lee pitches, I like our chances. He wasn't real good last time out against Boston.

We still have to win today though. Can't expect KC to win every game.

im positive he'll be out there. The Indians would love nothing more than to spoil our playoff chances while pilling on another Cliff Lee win to his Cy Young resume.

Maybe he'll take shot of Jobu's rum and miss it.
