Well I want this guy GONE! And he will be.. He talks and talks and talks, but can't back up s**t! Great he gets hits with no one on base, but over the last month he hasn't been able to drive in a runner in scoring position. He is a cocky player who thinks his s**t doesn't stink and overrated! His defense has sucked this year, his throws are like lobs to first, and is a rally killer like the majority of this team! If he's going to talk and try to pump his team up he has got to get people to buy into him. But how can you buy into someone that goes come on guys let's get some hits and drive some passion, but then ends up striking out for the third out or grounding out with a runner on third. He Stinks!

 

He's the leadoff hitter. That's kind of his job. He doesn't drive many runs in, so I'll give you that. I also think he is a pretty damn good defender all around.

Is he worth $30 million for 3 years at his age? I don't think so. Would I rather have Omar Vizquel finally? No! I just think it's best for both Orlando and the White Sox to part ways, and hopefully the scouting department makes the right moves with the draft pick/s in 2009.

 

He's done about what I expected coming into this year, although his defense and range (overall) have been a disappointment, compared to the expectations one usually has for a Gold Glove fielder in that position. I won't compare him to Royce Clayton, he's just a better fit for another club IMO.
