December 1, 200817 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 04:15 PM) As a general observation so far, I can't believe that so few people have chosen Miracle on 34th Street. Oddly enough, it was my #16...
December 1, 200817 yr I don't have enough favorites to make 1-15. Only about 5. And yes folks, Home Alone 1 & 2 would both make that list.
December 1, 200817 yr I have never seen Miracle on 34th St. I love Christmas movies and specials but Iam having a hard time remembering my favorites.

December 1, 200817 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 04:50 PM) A Christmas Story should, and likely will be, #1. Not for me. I've seen that so many times now that I cant bear the thought of watching it anymore.
December 1, 200817 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 03:50 PM) A Christmas Story should, and likely will be, #1. Pass. That movie sucks. I didn't even put it on my list.
December 1, 200817 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 04:24 PM) Pass. That movie sucks. I didn't even put it on my list. You're not American. If that isn't #1, i'm rioting.
December 1, 200817 yr QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 05:55 PM) You're not American. If that isn't #1, i'm rioting. Agreed. It's like Forrest Gump. I could watch it again as soon as it ends. Thankfully they do just that.
December 2, 200817 yr QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 1, 2008 -> 04:55 PM) You're not American. If that isn't #1, i'm rioting. I am America! And so can you! Maybe it's because I never saw it as a child, but I'd rather watch Christmas Vacation or It's a Wonderful Life anyday. Edited December 2, 200817 yr by Steve9347

December 3, 200817 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 2, 2008 -> 10:35 AM) I don't think ANYONE would vote for the live action one. I know it got dogged by a lot of people, but I really like that version. I own it.
December 3, 200817 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 3, 2008 -> 03:48 AM) I'm thrilled by the amount of lists so far. I'm glad to hear there are a lot of lists. Doesn't surprise me much. It's the only "let's make a list" I've filled out b/c I just love Christmas. Definitely my absolute favorite holiday, and I think it's most people's favorite too. It's just such a festive season... christmas music, being with family, lights on houses, christmas trees, etc. There's just so much to love about Christmas. The gifts are about last on my list on reasons I love Christmas. It would be far and away my favorite holiday even without the presents Santa brings...
December 3, 200817 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 2, 2008 -> 02:34 AM) To all those who voted for Grinch... Which one? The cartoon or live action? There is only one as far as I'm concerned: The Boris Karloff narrated classic.
December 7, 200817 yr I'm making my list and It's kinda sad how few I can come up with. Half of my list is gonna be tv shows and I'm not even sure if Edward Scissorhands counts but I'm putting it on my list because it is a Christmas movie to me.
