January 23, 200917 yr QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 12:10 PM) That wasn't a surprise either. He likes Jurko and he doesn't like Harry. McNeil kind of rubs me the wrong way. I don't necessarily think he's a bad guy or anything, but he's too Coppocky for my liking. He was a Coppock "understudy" so it's probably natural that it would rub off on him. I think what you said here is even more evident with reading this article than the way he conducted his show. He was always meant to be the cocky one, but somewhat reserved. In the article however, it sounds like he would have quit if he would not have been fired.... sorry Mac, I don't buy it.
January 24, 200917 yr Did anyone hear about a flap between Murphy and Steve Stone the other day? B&B were mentioning something yesterday, that Murph was pissed at Stone for not wanting to do his show anymore. They also mentioned that Stone called him a Mustachioed Cheerleader, LOLZ

He wouldn't have quit because he would have stopped getting paid. Getting paid to do nothing is pretty nice, especially if its for about 6 months and will net you $300k.
January 26, 200917 yr Any rumors on Mac heading to the Score? I havent seen anything, but it's a logical place to land.

January 30, 200917 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 26, 2009 -> 07:14 PM) Mac was at the Score before leaving for 1000. I wonder how many bridges he burned. Oh, I'm aware of that. I wondered about the burnt bridges thing too. My volleyball coach in 8th grade said something that has stuck with me to this day... never burn a bridge to an employer. You never know when you may have to go crawling back. Edited January 30, 200917 yr by Athomeboy_2000
January 30, 200917 yr It's great having Mac gone, I can actually listen to AM 1000 in that time slot. I normally listen to B & B if I'm not listening to the Stern replay on Sirius, but I can only listen to B & B I would say 70% of the time
February 3, 200917 yr IMO they let the wrong one go. They should have fired the two idiots and paired Mac with somebody else. He was a jerk, but he wasn't an idiot. Those other two though...sheesh...
