It seemed like Obama was getting bashed earlier than most Presidents. IMHO after 6 1/2 years of Bush supporters getting bounced around, they can finally be on the offensive. There seems to be a lot of pent up energy.

no doubt about it. And quite frankly, they aren't doing themselves any good with it right now.

 

In general, the public will give Obama sometime to make things work. More than the 2 weeks the Republicans gave them. So they are attacking a publicly popular individual during a honeymoon phase. That's why approval numbers for Congressional republicans have dropped since Jan.

As a Republican, in a way it seems like a break because I don't have to defend anything and everything. I'm going to give Obama a lot longer of a window span than just a month though.

well, why wouldn't we criticize him after 4 weeks in office. He has run by far the most reckless presidency in our history.
