Mauer, Baker Placed on DL

Featured Replies

I never wanna see a player injured. But I don't mind this.

The article also says Baker is out, and I'm going to update the thread title, because he's important too even if he hasn't annoyed us for as long.

Great... giving Dickey the start one week from tomorrow night at the Cell. I'll remain optimistic since we fare so well against Twins pitchers we've never seen.

We've seen him before. We lit him up last year. (He gave up 8 runs in 2 innings in his only career start at the Cell.)

In fact, we've played against him 4 times in the past and had our way with him (15 earned runs on 22 hits in 13.1 innings).

BTW - Dickey's no kid... he's a 34 years old journeyman with a 5.57 career ERA.

Edited by scenario

Yeah, if you cant stay in the Rangers pitching staff, it might be time to retire.

Redmond hurt his groin and may be out as well.
