interesting isnt it how foul ball home runs always turn into strikeouts. and missed 3rd strike calls turn into HR's? what a crazy sport.

Liriano is not quite there yet post TJ. He needs that extra year. He'll be good next season, just has to take his lumps. (though he's in the Verlander camp struggling against us)

Crappy time for my computer to go bonkers. Dye's homer was the definition of a towering line drive. Nice call about the crooked number Jason.

By the way, are you still in favor of starting Betemit at 3B against Blackburn tomorrow?

Yes...I'm all in favor of a platoon right now.

Liriano is lacking control and he can't throw that slider at 89-91 MPH anymore.

He will have to use the change-up more often unless he wants to pull all the ligaments in his elbow apart.

Dad gummit, Tigers win again, 6 games over .500 and rising.

Seems strange that BA's OPS is lower this season than his career OPS, but he has had a lot of singles this season. Still better than Nix and Lillibridge in CF, though.

With Quentin hopefully returning to the lineup in the next few days, Anderson needs to get it going are else we'll see a lot of Pods in CF.

Just like that Cuddayer takes one out, 7-4

That will be it for John, he looks mad, probably not the outing he was hoping for, but we're leading with 2 out in the 6th.

Let's close this out.

This probably kills my dream of getting to see Gobble tonight.

Jon Danks with 111 pitches in 5.2 IP....ouch.

From Yahoo Sports:

Bot 4th: Chi White Sox

- P. Konerko homered to deep left center, J. Thome scored

- J. Fields singled to center, A. Ramirez scored

- J. Dye homered to deep left, J. Fields, C. Miller and J. Nix scored

MORE PLEASE!!

Alexei sucks at SS.

Winner... we have a streak going folks!!

yay, alexei....awesome clutch play to end the game and keep the tying run from coming to the plate

sox win, 2-0 without Lillibridge now

Haven't seen Alexei use that sliding play at SS this year. It's fascinating to watch Jenks pitch, as he's throwing some sick sinkers on the mound and very few 4 seamers.

Let's sweep em.
