Better to happen now than in 10 days.

I don't think KW will starting selling off, he's too hard headed.

If anything we'll see moves of the Quentin variety, low-risk, high reward gambles aimed at keeping quality while generating youth.

Hopefully, tonight is Beckham's coming out party on the world's stage.

i believe his production has been better than what we've gotten out of the Wise/BA combo

If the comparison is to Wise/BA, the Sox go nowhere.

Pods with an infield single.

This is about as big a must-win as there has been all season.

26 infield hits for Scott, second only to Ichiro.

Ramirez with a base hit.

Sox desperately have to avoid the double play tonight.

Well men on for the 3-4-5. Time to hit.

dye battling with porcello

all i was saying is that you have to give CQ a few weeks to get back in a groove he hasnt seen big league pitching in 2 months...you can't expect him to destroy pitching automatically again

bases loaded c'mon guys we cant let him go freely lets get some runs

That was a productive easy double play ball!!

porcello late covering leads to an extra run and stay out of the dp

at least we get two runs there

Konerko

haha yes

Nice, work. Lucky, but we'll take it. I was just looking at his numbers and Porcello doesn't strike ANYONE out. This suggest that a lot of what we're seeing is simple luck, and his number stand to inflate significantly by the end of the months. He has some decent grounball tendencies, but not enough to justify a sub 3.5 ERA, like he had earlier this year.

PAULIE 2 RUN SHOT 4-0

Mercy, Konerko with an extremely long fly ball that goes way out!!
