From the moment he started his wind-up on the 1st pitch to Thome to the time the ball hit his glove of AJ's smash was 2 minutes, 9 seconds.

Thornton really needs a secondary pitch. He's going to get burned sooner or later by throwing nothing but fastballs.

The middle three right now are painful to watch hit. They get the occasional homer but then have simply woeful at-bats. Konerko is not really that bad but it seems Dye gets the occasional homer and Thome the occasional walk.

 

One good game a week is not what they all are all making over $10M to do. I'd like a Derek Lee type roll for about 10 games.
