.500 teams are not a lot of fun to be a fan of. They tease us. We just ain't that good. I doubt anybody will disagree with that.

It could be a lot worse, I know. We could be the Royals and buried six weeks ago.

Just to put our embarrassing performance in perspective, Sowers hasn't had a complete game since July 28th 2006. 56 starts have passed since then.

 

Although it looks like we'll avoid that fate.
