July 24, 200322 yr Do ya'll think that Juan Gone will be traded now that he is on the DL. I don't mind if he's traded, I just hope it's not to the Royals. If I were a GM and I wanted Gonzalez, I wouldnt let the injury change my mind about trading for him. But, I hope the injury changes the Royals' mind, and they don't make any moves.
July 24, 200322 yr He can't be traded since he is on the Disabled list, but he'll pass through waivers so the Royals can still get him when he comes off.

Wait, is there a rule that says someone can't be traded if they're on the DL or are you just saying no one will want him b/c he's on the DL?

July 24, 200322 yr Author in the cba o ok, thanks. That would suck if you were a GM but couldnt make a trade b/c a player was on the DL. Of course, I guess you could always do one of those waiver deals, however those work.
July 24, 200322 yr Did I call the Juan Gone to the DL or what. I swear within days of his trade talk to the Royals I said I hoped that they got him, because he'd soon have his annual injury.
July 24, 200322 yr What is amazing is he is only 33 years old, I thought he was much older. He couldn't get a contract at 31, geez what happened to him.
