Going to the bottom of the 1st in a scoreless game. Jose threw 15 pitches in the top of the inning.

That's not all that bad for Jose. As long as none of them are scoring pitches we are good

It looked like it could be a long inning after the 8 pitch 1st AB followed by a single.

Jose's forker looks very forky today.

Fork you

2 quick outs.

Way to get over Jose

Easy 1-2-3 inning for Jose which included a 3 pitch K to Jacobs. Still 1-0 good guys.

After 2 innings Jose at 21 pitches.

Rios doubles with 1 out.

Rios gets our 3rd double of the game.

Better inning obviously. What's your bet on how long he gone go without running into major problems? Mine is 5

Nix up Rios on 3rd , 2 outs.

Rockin Rios with a double.

Productive out by Alexei. Moves the runner to 3rd. 1 out.

I'll guess 4th inning before he has a meltdown.

Looking at the speed of his pitches...man that guy is filthy. 96 mph fast ball followed by a 74 mph slider.

All this talk reminds me of the Javy Vazquez era, where he would be cruising, and you would just know the meltdown was coming soon, just waiting for it...

According to Gameday it was the second out. Quentin fly-out was the first.

Plus he has awesome control with all of them.

Nix Ks with the runner on 3rd for the 3rd out. I incorrectly stated that there was 1 out with Rios on 3rd.
