WHITE SOX GIVE FANS SPECIAL OFFER DURING LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Holiday Weekend Series to Feature Specially Discounted Concessions

CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox will offer all fans attending the Labor Day weekend series vs. Boston (September 4 – September 7) specially discounted concession items.

“Our special offer is simply a ‘thank you’ from the organization to loyal White Sox fans,” said Brooks Boyer, White Sox chief marketing officer/vice president. “This series also is a great way for fans and families to close out their summer with a mini-vacation, or ‘stay-cation,’ at the ballpark.”

The four-game series serves as an affordable entertainment option for those choosing to stay in the Chicagoland-area through the holiday weekend. The specially priced concession menu includes:

• $1 Ball Park Franks

• $3 Vienna Beef Premium Hot Dogs

• $1 Pretzels

• $1 Small Fountain Pepsi Products

• $1 Potato Chips

Tickets for all four of the White Sox games vs. Boston are available at whitesox.com, by calling 866-SOX-GAME and at the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office.

Sounds like a great deal. That's usually where most of the money goes when bringing a family.

Good idea. To bad the ticket prices for the series make up for the money you could possibly save.

Concessions may not be all owned by the Sox, but yeah, if the tickets were cheaper you wouldn't have to discount concessions.

i know the conession stand works wear Delaware North Companies shirts so im guessing they own them but not sure

I don't have a problem with them jacking up prices for the Red Sox tickets. In the past few years, the park has been filled with Red Sox fans. I think this concession deal is very nice.

I'll be there on labor day.. looks like I'm eating cheap hotdogs all day... that leaves more money for beverages. Wonderful!

Exactly. The Red Sox fans are helping us pay for our roster, and I don't mind it one bit. :lolhitting

Haven't gotten to the park yet this year. How is the dining with the unfortunate loss of Best's Kosher?
