I personally believe the only reason Manual is tinkering is because Koch has sucked. If Koch didn't suck then White (Big Mouth) would be relegated to mopping up 13-1 loses. Did White happen to indicate why he sucked for the first three months or why he has a 5.3 era. He should shut his mouth and pitch and pitch good when he is called upon. That is theonly role he needs to know.

Williams shaving his head doesn't mean anything to me. It's just not as compelling as Hawk's 10 win in a row bet. Hawk has too much pride, and shaving his head just seems hilarious. If we win today, he'll be sweating for the next three days.

Ditto. White was in no way ready to start the season. He was awful for two months. He has no reason to b****. Lately, since he has been pitching better, he has had some meaningful innings. I think his role is very obvious. He comes in usually bettwen the 5th and 8th innings with the game on the line, but defers to Flash and Marte in end of the game situations.

White has been pretty damn effective since the 1st of June. He sucked for two months, but he's doing well now. We should lay off the dude as he just may help us win this thing.

Nah, that would be too much like him and too obtuse. It's in playing to the spontenaity(sp?) of the streak and in the togetherness of the team/org as the other locks fall that would make it even worthwhile doing.
