Yeah, Floyd should be shut down. It's not like there's much left of the season. If his hip hurts why push it? I'd think he'll battle it, though, until we are mathematically eliminated. It's obvious the Sox management is in it til the end, even if the players aren't.

if it comes down to it, and I know this is freaky, but i think i have to root for the twins over the tigers. Can't explain it.

I also would rather have the Twins for some reason. I might change my mind if they kick our ass in the Cell. We really should win those games or at least 2 of 3.

Our elimination number is 11 now.

 

We're 5-6 since beating the Cubs. Can you imagine if we just were winning series of late? We'd have cut the deficit vs. Detroit to a reasonable margin entering those six games vs. them. 5-6? Wasted opportunity.
