Anyone have the pitch count on Loaiza?

103

MIN 6 CLE 5

Thanks to both.

I think he has got 1 more inning left. I'd like to see Wunsch and Koch work an inning.

I was in Comiskey in game 2 of the 1959 World Series against the Dodgers when Al Smith got a beer in the face as he was looking up at a home run.  I was on the third base side half way up with a perfect view.  Never have forgotten it.  Of course, that was an accident.

my wife got me a great photo of that moment from the trib. photo archive.

its called "al smith takes a bath" awesome sports picture

sort of captures the essence of being a sox fan :)

I think we should get Glover in tonight no matter what.

Stanhouse comes in with an ERA hovering near 7.00 and takes out our bottom 3 like they were in little league. Analysts say that the Sox need a 3B and a C and that Olivo especially kills our line up. The RBI tonight being an exception what do you guys think?

Man, Esteban ERA is right now 2.07.... :o :headbang

f*** man, it's 2.20. :bang in my head.

If ur relying on ur 9th place hitter to produce offense..... you have more problems than just the 9th place hitter.

Oliva's arm is what he's here for....anything else is a bonus.

Although we should still probably win the game, I've seen ELo throw tons of BAD pitches on 0-2, 1-2 counts...mistakes that I'm not sure why were thrown over and over.

Good to see the Big Number 6-5 out there. :headbang

Glover starts the 8th and no one is posting anymore

game boring again?

So the BBTN guys just made a joke about the Beer tossing, saying "Baldelli's from Rhode Island, he's used to it"

Followed by a great segment from Dibble about Frank saying if he's not a HOF'er he doesn't know what the Hall of Fame is. Said some awesome things about Big Frank. Very Cool.

Im glad its boring, thats what it should be, Sox kicking their ass. We need some easy breezy wins like this. We shouldnt have to be down and have a great comeback just to beat the DRays :headbang

One more out and then I'm assuming we see Koch.

Dibble always has liked Frank.

yup, a game where we get cruising early is better for my health :)

OK, I'm going on record as saying it now....we should keep Robbie Alomar for the next 2 years, some kind of decent, incentive-laden contract, and that gives him the chance for hit #3000 in the Sox uniform, and we all know JR loves media attention at the park.

One more out and then I'm assuming we see Koch.

a 5 run lead in the 9th against Tampa Bay would be KochProof - but are we going to see him? No, it appears - but Glover needs the work so fine by me

Rod Dibble just said on Baseball Tonight that Billy Koch and Bartolo Colon do not know how to pitch because they do not use the inner half of the plate

eight in a row :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang

Re: Dibble. Koch, Colon, and Benson. He might be right.
