That's two open roster spots in W-S now. I think Phegley and Griffith will be activated to take those spots. B'ham and Kanny each have one open roster spot.

 

I still think it would be smart to move both Loman and Gac up a level. B'ham could definitely use a power hitter and Gac would take his place in W-S.

According to the press release, he jammed his knee covering first base the other day.

Phegley activated from the DL, Drew O'Neil promoted to W-S, Taylor Thompson promoted to Kanny, and Threets promoted to Chicago.

Remenowsky said he's getting an X-Ray and MRI today (probably already done), they don't know for sure what it is. They are hoping its minor. He says it felt like he dislocated it.

Jose has been out of baseball so long, I'm still skeptical he can make it back. But Greene's promotion was overdue and I'm excited to see what he can do at AA, where he is more age appropriate.

No word on whom the Barons are cutting loose. Nobody is being promoted, Charlotte only has one open spot and that's Threets' spot. If I had to guess, it would be either Negron, Greene would be playing over him anyway. Or, Angel Garcia, he's a reclaimation project who hasn't pitched all that well. One player has to go, Negron didn't play last night, but was present in the dugout, as was Garcia.
