You also posted a link for a NEW Nexus S.

LOL. The used ones are going for as low as 20 bucks. But nice try.

Look at the tab on the right for used dude...it clearly says from $215.

You do know CDMA phones cost substantially less unlocked than GSM ones right?

You also forgot to mention that the glass is cracked on that one.

Spoke too early.

The 20$ one I posted is GSM.

It clearly said Sprint in the title and the description said it had a clean ESN. Thus, CDMA and worth a lot less. The seller also dropped it and it cracked. So the resale value of that is literally nothing.

Do you ever use eBay? There's 2 days left on that auction. That's nowhere near the final price.

You better not be trollin' me.

But you make it so easy.

CDMA doesn't seem to have an effect on iPhone prices, though.

Whatever the case may be, all unlocked phones may sell for a bit...but none of them sell for anywhere near what Iphones sell for.

I never said they had better re-sale value than the iPhone.

You were the one who said you can get $200-$400 for a 2 year old Apple device and I gave you an example of something that isn't an Apple and can get you somewhere around the $200 for re-sale value.

So long as it's on the right (wrong) network.

GSM = AT&T...and as a long time user of AT&T...I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Verizon iPhone 4: http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Apple-iPhone-4-16G...mpt=Cell_Phones

Used from $170.

AT&T iPhone 4: http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Apple-iPhone-4-16G...mpt=Cell_Phones

Used from $240.

There is a difference. May not be as high as the difference for other phones, but a still a noticeable difference.

Why, after you asked if I'm trolling you, and I all but said yes, did you allow me to continue doing it? :D

Joe is an Apple hater, even if he denies it. What he's ignoring is every technology sector has those same types of rabid fans, often called "fanbois". Doesn't matter if it's Microsoft, Google or Apple...they all have their fair share. There are Playstation fans, and 360 fans, iPhone fans, and Android fans...and Windows Mobile 7 "fan". Note there is no S there, because Microsoft only has one. ;) Apple fanbois have simply had a longer time in the spotlight and are more well known...but that doesn't mean the other factions don't exist. It also doesn't mean every user is like that, because they aren't.

A good friend of mine is just like that, but my friend admits it openly. It's ok to be that blatant about it...but when you are, you have to realize your reputation in technology discussions is crushed and your word means nothing unless you outright admit your bias, so people know what to take with a grain of salt and what to take seriously.

I've stated multiple times I hate Apple. I didn't even realize that was up for discussion. I have not, and will not ever purchase an Apple product in my life. And my life will be none the different without them.
