Thinking about national reporting.

Split up NBC/MSBNC into 2 options.

Define "Fair and balanced" better for me.

But there's a legit comeback to that..you've already put in the standard where someone (either me while answering this poll or the news director, etc.) has decided what is the important News. Not to bash Fox but to give an example here, they've chosen to put very little emphasis on the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake. Fox News was the only one not running the telethon, they've given like 1/10th as much coverage to it as anyone else. Is the true news getting Anderson Cooper in there and watching people dug out, or is the true news saying "the earthquake happened, here's the casualty toll, here's what is happening today" and then moving on to something else?

BBC

BBC

They are actually damn good, I have to agree. BBC and PBS are quite good.

If I had to pick a "mainstream" network, I suppose I'd go CNN.

CNN has made a signficant effort in the last year to provide as middle of the road reporting as they can with the staff they have. I think, to a degree, that they have succeeded.

I also think, they've also made some horrible choices in what and how they cover stories too.

On the basis of fair coverage, I would go down the line and say BBC, PBS, NPR, CNN.

None - all stink.

FOX News running away with it.

I can't believe Fox News is leading in this poll...Fox is the GOP's mouthpiece as much as MSNBC is for the Dems, no difference.

I watch the BBC and listen to NPR.

BBC World Service is the best part of nighttime driving. I like NPR as well.
