big K, now NUT UP

Great sequence by Floyd there!

Great job Gavin!

So now its:

Danks, Buehrle, Peavy, Floyd, Garcia.

I don't know about putting Peavy ahead of Floyd...

You can argue at least Garcia threw one QS out of 2. Peavy's been hit hard or wild three out of four times out there.

Ramirez/Lucy/Nix...one of the weakest bottom 3's we have had since Mark Johnson and Royce Clayton in 01/02/03.

There you go. 1-2-3, some luck and some good D by Nix.

Nix has a very strong arm, even for 3B.

Not sure if he made up for his error, but nice to see him rebound and make a strong play.

Good AB by Nix. He really needs to play every game against LHP.

Nix just hit that harder than Vizquel ever will this season.

Seriously...

Nix > Viquel

Jones > Kotsay

It's really NOT that hard, Ozzie.

Wow, Pierre is sooooooo bad!

pierre looks NOTHING like the guy who played in LA last year

Well, he looks like the same guy who was worthless after his amazing 40 game stretch.

runner still at 1st...

i thought this s*** was going to be different?

Walker needs to sit down with Beckham and show him some tape from last year.

He's developed a little bit of a loop...last year he was locked in, short, quick and level. Up the middle and to RCF, doubles gaps....turning on some pitches and jacking them out.

We're going to rue that DP ball...once again, the bullpen has to deal with no margin for error. 4-2 would feel a lot more comfortable, because the M's aren't exactly an offensive powerhouse either.

Not a lot of hard hit balls for the Sox tonight. Their WNBA pitcher has nothing either, but we keep trying to pull the change-up.

Here's what I don't get. If you are a team having trouble manufacturing runs, why wasn't Pierre bunting? He does know how to do that.

What was Pierre actually thinking he could accomplish by hitting the ball in the air. A slap hitter is such a STUPID idea in our stadium, as there's not a lot of room for bloopers in the outfield.

We all know Walker doesn't do anything to help. Maybe he should just show the hitters old episodes of Happy Days

Thome with his 3rd HR of the season, hitting .222.

He did K with the bases loaded.

Minnesota cruising behind Pavano, up 5-1.

Pods 0/2.

Solo shot for Paulie.

Solo shot for Paulie.

That was a bomb.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

3 solo homers...White Sox baseball, you gotta love it.

Sets up an interesting decision with Konerko if the Twins continue to lead us by 6-8 games and Paulie keeps looking "hitterish."

White Sox outhomering M's 22-6 on the season. Yet the team records don't reflect it exactly.

Looks like former Sox farm hand Kaneoka Teixeira will get in the game.

What's the decision? He's already said he knows this is likely his last season in Chicago. You go ahead and trade him if anyone wants him at the deadline.
