I'll still take Lucy's line over anything AJ would have provided tonight.

he most likely would have swung at the first pitch for a pop up or grounder

People are just taking very comfortable swings against Buehrle this season. He's not throwing his fastball enough up in the zone to change the hitter's eye level. Of course, with his fastball seemingly losing more steam, it's hard to do that.

haha strike 2 was bulls***

It certainly looked like it. But eh, I'd rather trust the machine than my eyes.

Damon, Matsui, and Vlad...just seeing those three names pisses me off.

How much better would this lineup be with Vlad replacing Pierre and just playing Jones, Rios and Quentin in the outfield everyday. But of course we have to have a garbage leadoff hitter so we can have "speed" and not be one dimensional.

Sorry but Mark is just a slightly above average pitcher these days.

Especially against good hitting teams. His start at New York should be awful this weekend.

In his defense. His numbers would look a lot better if he got an opportunity to face Ozzieball on a regular basis.

give it right back

Situational hitting. Thats what it looks like.

Wilson at 100+ pitches, can we hit Rangers' bullpen?

Mark Teahen in.

Good job Mark.

for the love of god, get.a.hit.

Let's see if Juan Pierre can not be useless

So Ozzie bunts with Beckham at ease, but not with Pierre...?

I'd love to see Teahen start leading off.

The super fast ground out machine is up. Lets see if he can do something.

We're down 2, not 1

DFA this scrub right now.

Pierre trying to have the worst solo performance in Sox history tonight.

Looks like bunting might have been a good idea.

And take the piece of s*** that had/has a boner for him.

how many DPs has he hit into this season? seems like a lot for the fastest guy on the team. what a f***ing bust he's been.

So when is the 2003 Juan Pierre that Ozzie thought he was getting going to show up. Because this out generating machine is not helping.

Mark Teahen is a solid, everyday major league baseball player. Don't let anyone tell you different.
