Cy Danks???

Featured Replies

Lefty starter of the Chicago White Sox, John Danks has been impressive so far this season. How impressive? 3-0 with a 1.55 era impressive. Danks has started this season as one of the American League’s best starters.

With the Sox offensive struggles this season Danks has kept his team in games only allowing 5 runs in his 29 innings pitched. Not only is Danks not giving up runs he has only given up a 0.86 WHIP (Walks + Hits per Innings Pitched.) Danks has been a bright spot in a very dim first month of the season for the Sox.

There is a lot of baseball left.

Waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too early for this. It's been a great first month, that's for sure. But chances are he'll perform to his previous level for the next five months, and that certainly won't be good enough for the Cy Young.

For our teams sake, I hope that trends that started in April won't continue througout the season...It's too early for this.

Paulie for MVP and Santos for ROY while we're at it.

Lets wait till the All-Star break.

Ozzie = Manager of the year

We'd only have 2 wins without Danks and Konerko.

What are the chances that this thread jinxes today's game?
