I thought the White Sox had an outside chance to exceed my expectations, which were about the .500 team that you described with your 16-16 question.

 

If they had a better record, of course I would be more optimistic of their chances, but they don't, and, in my opinion, they aren't good enough to overcome a bad start, and the hole they have dug - I just don't see them as being better than mediocre.
