Sadly, I'm going to be scared about G on the road every game until he has a few good ones in a row.

As I type that, Butler nailed that ball.

Don't underestimate our starters ability to give runs back.

Doesn't matter. The Sox are getting at least 6 today.

That was a hell of a play by Alexei.

That was close to being an incredible DP. Nice save by Konerko.

Absolutely horrific footwork by Beckham there. He needs to be more flexible on the turn.

Nice, very nice.

Good job Gavin, keep the offensive swagger going.

So is Thornton ok? Also, what was Peavy's fastball like yesterday?

I flipped the channel during the commercial break and just got the joy of watching Aramis Ramirez with a complete "Ole!" bullfighting style move letting a ball float past him. I enjoyed that.

That poll question is Guttierez and it's not even really close.

Peavy's fastball got a little wild in the first and it cost him. I'm not sure I trust the KC gun but it had him 94 through the whole game.

They say Thornton is OK. As I said in my writeup, saying "Thornton's elbow is OK" is like telling me "The problem at the nuclear plant is under control". Yeah, you may be trying to reassure me, but I don't want to be talking about it in the first place.

Maybe it's me, but Matt Kemp seems terrible defensively.

We call that, "pulling a Teahen."

Did he have the good slider going?

Do a hit-and-run here!

You are correct. He belongs as a corner OF already.

Again, aside from the 1st inning, yeah.

Excellent, I was out all night, and when I heard he pitched into the 9th, I was stunned.

If he was pitching with a team that had any confidence in its closer, he'd have pitched 8.

Is Jayson Nix our only hitter to swing at a 3-0 pitch all season?

I think a couple others have over the past week.

What has happened more often these telecasts, Frank saying no doubt about it, or Hawk sucking the Big Hurt off?
