Somehow Cervelli has 10 errors in limited play at catcher.

Considering the Yankees have the best record in the majors, it's looking like Boston will be only 4.5 game behind both the Rays and Yankees. They have absolutely no clue what to do with Burnett (7 ERA and no wins in August) and if Pettite can't come back, things will get very very interesting in the final 2-3 weeks.

i guess it doesn't matter, since Hank has already deemed them a "lock" for the playoffs

Nothing would dissapoint me more than to see the Red Sox climb back up and make the playoffs (outside of the Sox making it, obviously).

where's fathom, the closet yankee fan?

Fatherhood is very time consuming. But a Yankees fan? I've been called a lot of things in my life, but never that.

Scottie Pippen holding the Stanley Cup. You don't see that every day.

Dapper Dan Dapper Chuck what is Hawk talking about?

Sox got a lot of hot hitters all of a sudden Rios, Konerko, Alexei, Pierre, Beckham (though he's cooled off the last few days).

Also Teahen in the 8 games he's played since he's been back.

PS, i just remembered, Castro no longer catching Freddy?

when was the last time we scored 9 w/o a HR

Big game Freddie !

Juan Pierre now batting .283 with .350 OBP clip after having a terrible April.

Hell of a game by Freddy.
