I was gonna say. I haven't seen an Ozzie team retaliate in years when a pitcher hits us. Usually it's when a guy hits us once or more... Hawk always says "He's gonna pay, maybe not this game or the next one, but in a series" and yet nothing happens.

I can't believe it was a year ago that Ozzie made headlines for this...

Seems like he forgot....

Not many posts after the 2nd game. I'll assume people were confused not knowing if they should post after the 2nd game in the 1sr game thread. Any way. Great pitching by the Sox and props to Jenks for saving both games. Just keep winning , just keep winning.

This was just an absolutely huge series of wins yesterday. This team came out knowing the stakes and played two solid ballgames. That’s great to see.

Our most important pitchers stepped up to the challenge, even though neither of them had their best stuff yesterday. It's really impressive that they could both rise to the occasion using sheer strength of will....he said hyperbolically.

Seriously, though, hats off to Danks and Floyd for pitching their asses off in an important situation.

No way Texas gets swept, right??? Let's make sure Boston does.

Very nice wins, but I couldn't bring myself to watch either 9th inning.

I thought the ninth innings were rather fun to watch. They gawn; we win.
