I think fans got carried away with putting the savior image on Manny. He can't solve the pen problems. It's at the point where a pen appearance is an automatic loss.

 

I will always be a fan of the Manny pickup, but I will agree that the bullpen ended up being the biggest problem, and there were never any reinforcements, other than Sale, who is being used every day.

 

 

I predicted 86 wins at the beginning of the year, so 7-7 is what we need to get there. I'm looking pretty good on that one.
