February 20, 201115 yr QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 11:05 AM) I believe he was. I did a short search last night looking for a pic of him but found nothing with 8 on it. Here ye go!
February 20, 201115 yr Man, I love this thread. You guys are making me do some serious digging! At the start of #8, I had 17 names and pics on this one, but didn't want to hog all of them up. Glad to see that some of you posted some that I had planned to. At the beginning of each day, I'll post a few. If I don't see anymore by the middle of the day, then I'll post the balance of the ones that I have. Many times I'll get names with the correct number, but no number shows on the uniform to verify it.
February 20, 201115 yr QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 11:03 AM) In case anyone doesn't get the above reference. Nice! Never even thought about that one! Good catch!
February 20, 201115 yr QUOTE (Rooftop Shots @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 01:15 PM) Here ye go! We talked a lot about Pete Ward in my house when I was a youngster since my last name is the same. Dad always said Johnny Mostil was a distant cousin .Still can't verify that .
February 21, 201115 yr Start the day off with some Jerry Blowens. Full disclosure: I was a sucker for JO. Always wanted him to be something good. Alas, Ozzie and I feel victim to his speed

Alas, Ozzie and I feel victim to his speed I think everyone went through that phase at one point or another. I did after his monster year in Birmingham. Most people quickly realized he was pretty terrible.
February 21, 201115 yr Author You ever notice how many losers wore #7 for the Sox? Jim Rivera is about the only decent player. http://whitesoxcards.net/numbers/7.htm

February 21, 201115 yr Had a real tough time finding one with the boss. Lots of pictures of him, but nothing that shows his number. At least this got a piece of the 7
February 21, 201115 yr Never knew that Leon Wagner played with us. I thought that he was a career Indian
February 21, 201115 yr For the life of me, please don't ask me who the heck Syd O'Brien is. Saw this one and said, "Who the daylights was this guy???" Never the less, he made todays highlights.
