Why? Because I can.

Agreed. No guarantee you'll be able to do it again, so flaunt it if you got it! :headbang

Well actually, I can guarantee he will be able do it again. The Sox will be in first at the end of today no matter what. They may be tied, but they'll still be in first.

KC is 1-1. If they win and we lose, there goes the pennant.

Not if the Sox lose and Royals win

Crud! I didn't realize the Royals played on Thursday. I thought everyone had only played one game. This is when being a smartass backfires :lolhitting

Ha, what sucks is that I really thought I made a good point. I even felt good that, no matter what, the Sox would still be in first tonight.

Chalk it up as ESP

Magic Number= 160

How cool would it be to be 10 games up on the Twins by the end of may?

Just in time for Peavy to come back too... that would be awesone. Damn I'm glad baseball is here. Score board watching - even this early - beats the offseason.

A half game behind the dreaded Royals, but leading the division in run differential ;)

Bump.

About to lay a bet down with my coworkers tonight that the sox will have a better record than the Cubs by mid-season. I can already smell that 50 bucks. :)

Take your coworkers out for a few drinks tonight and make that $50 into $200. Easy money.

Remember this team? It's still out there. They will regain this form.

Seeing this topic made me think the Tigers, Royals, and Indians all got into a place crash.

As frustration and panic builds we can always count on a voice of reason bringing us back from the abyss :usa :gosox1: :cheers
