May 8, 201114 yr Remenowsky faced 4 batters and struck them all out. he's gone 14.1 IP with 21K's 1BB and an ERA of 0.63. He continues to impress, not bad for a guy who went undrafted
May 8, 201114 yr Mitchell ALMOST went a game without striking out. Struck out his last AB of the night. Went 1-4 with an RBI.
May 8, 201114 yr QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ May 7, 2011 -> 11:25 PM) Mitchell ALMOST went a game without striking out. Struck out his last AB of the night. Went 1-4 with an RBI. Don't worry, he's made up for it by striking out 4 times in 4 AB's so far today. Trying to reach that elusive 40% K-rate. Edit: 5 strikeouts now. Ouch. Edited May 8, 201114 yr by DirtySox
May 9, 201114 yr QUOTE (bighurt4life @ May 7, 2011 -> 08:50 PM) Remenowsky faced 4 batters and struck them all out. he's gone 14.1 IP with 21K's 1BB and an ERA of 0.63. He continues to impress, not bad for a guy who went undrafted Nice recovery from the previous outing where he gave up his one run so far this season. I wonder, at what point, a guy like this, who keep defying expectations and performs at that level, starts to pass the more highly considered prospects and gets promoted.
May 9, 201114 yr QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 9, 2011 -> 07:51 AM) Nice recovery from the previous outing where he gave up his one run so far this season. I wonder, at what point, a guy like this, who keep defying expectations and performs at that level, starts to pass the more highly considered prospects and gets promoted. He reminds me of Bajenaru in a few ways. Baj got a call up to the bigs and didn't do well, but that's probably a good sign for Remenowsky. He will get a shot if he keeps pitching like this. He just has to take advantage.
